Quick Tour of Excel - Ribbon & Quick Access Toolbar
๐ In later version of Excel for Microsoft 365, the ribbon-collapsing experience has changed slightly. It's still in the same place, but instead of just the collapse and pin options, you now get the Show Ribbon menu, where you can choose between "Always show ribbon" (equivalent to the pinned ribbon), and "Show tabs only" (equivalent to collapsed ribbon that only appears when you select a tab).
๐ If you don't like searching through the many options in the ribbon, you can use the search bar, which is now available in the right-click menu (Excel for Microsoft 365 only). You can use it to search for any command, directly from the cell you're on. To bring it up, right-mouse-click or use the shortcut Shift+F10 or Win+Shift+F10 (check which one works in your version; on a laptop keyboard you may have to use (Win+)Shift+Fn+F10).
๐บWatch a short video to see how it works in practice.
